EDIT August 9, 2009: Hehe, I just wanted to point out that I painted this in early 2006, so I may not be able to accurately answer questions about it. ^^; Feel free to ask, but I'm just saying. ;P /EDIT

Full view please!!

Well, it's 6:45 am here, and I just finished this image after not sleeping all night, hehe. Anyway, I've had this image in my head for several months now. When Sirius, Remus, James, etc. were all students at Hogwarts, I'm sure there were times when Remus was unable to prevent himself from transforming into a werewolf. On those occasions, he would undoubtedly go rampaging about the countryside all night, then come to himself by the light of dawn, battered and naked, with no idea exactly where he was. I imagine that his closest friends, particularly Sirius, would have taken it upon themselves to go find Remus, armed with gauze and a change of clothes.

I was trying to convey a certain mood with this scene, but I'm not sure if I succeeded. Please comment and let me know what you think. Do I need to change anything? I worked really hard on this, and I would like it to look as good as possible. Oh, and is this image too dark on your monitor? I have an LCD, so it make look different on CRTs. Anyway, I'm rambling in my sleepiness. I'll also post some details.

Edit: Darkened the background trees, and messed with a few other small details.

First of all, the perspective is amazing! The grass really gives a feeling of depth. I think this is quite nice. I usually cringe at fanart but I can believe a scene like this. It's so them.

Glad i caught your work as i was login in, Your mood has work partically well and you have captured the scene.i'm partically fond of the out of focus grass close to the camera it adds a great level of depth My only real crit would be that a number of the lower sections of trees are too light and your losing some of the depth in the image, the contrasting is right for the area which is good to see and thats a lovely sky.. you've got quite a nice gallery with a distinct style so i'll probably watch as well now.

Very pretty. I'm not a huge HP fan myself, but I like the work on this, particularly the lighting on REMUS' NAKED BODY heeheehee. Seriously, well-done on the anatomy and on the lighting. A nicely moody image that tells a story. Remus looks so ashamed.

Thanks so much for the comments! Yeah, I agree with you about the trees in the background; I'll probably get away from the picture until tomorrow, then mess around with the levels in Photoshop. Thanks again!
