EDIT: I'm resubmitting this with some changes that were suggested by William B. Hand on CenceptArt. org. I like it better now.

I know, you're expecting "WIP" to be on the end of the title, right?

But I think it's done! I don't even know how many hours I've put into this image. Not just painting it, but searching for dozens of reference photos and other people's artwork for inspiration.

With this image, I tried to capture the feel of a recurring dream I used to have. I was floating along in a deep, slow river while otters made their way to an underwater kingdom. I remember feeling like I was a part of the river, or at least a welcome guest.
