I drew this for the Holiday Exchange on the renji_rukia LJ community. The person I was to draw a picture for said that she liked 20s era fashion, so I jumped at the chance to play with Rukia as a flapper and Renji as a gangster. I love the clothes from back them! <3

The clothes are sooo cool! The shading is just perfect. The sepia cloluring gives off the fell of the epoque really well.

The smoke provides for an eye-catching composition (though smoking is so unhealthy! shame on you Rukia xD)

Haha, yeah, I almost didn't have her smoking, because it's so disgusting, but I couldn't pass up the chance to include one of those cool old cigarette holders and the fun, smoky border. XD Thanks so much for the wonderful comment!
